CREST Penetration Testing Services in London, Essex and the South East

Find your security weaknesses before attackers do.

Working closely with a CREST-certified partner, we provide penetration testing that simulates real-world cyber attacks on your systems, then shows you exactly what to fix, in plain English. As your managed IT support provider, we can fix it for you too.

The basics

What Is Penetration Testing?

Penetration testing, or pen testing, is a controlled, ethical cyber attack on your business. Certified ethical hackers from our CREST-certified partner use the same tools and techniques as real attackers to find weaknesses in your network, applications and cloud systems before someone else does.

Unlike automated vulnerability scanning, a pen test combines tools with manual testing to show how a vulnerability could actually be exploited and what it would put at risk.

Automated

Vulnerability scan

Automated, and lists possible weaknesses.

Certified ethical hackers manually exploit weaknesses to show the real risk.

Why test

Why Your Business Needs a Penetration Test

Firewalls, antivirus and MFA are only effective if they’re set up correctly. A penetration test proves whether your cyber security works in practice, not just on paper.

Find hidden vulnerabilities before attackers exploit them

Prove your security to clients, insurers and auditors

Support Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements

Prioritise your IT budget on the risks that matter most

Our services

Types of Penetration Testing We Offer

External Penetration Testing

Tests everything visible from the internet, including firewalls, VPNs and public-facing servers, to see how an outside attacker could get in.

Internal Penetration Testing

Simulates an attacker who’s already inside, such as a compromised laptop or a disgruntled insider, to see how far they could get.

Web Application Penetration Testing

Checks your websites, portals and online apps for common weaknesses, including those on the OWASP Top 10.

API Testing

Checks the APIs behind your apps and integrations for weak authentication, poor access control and data exposure.

Mobile Application Penetration Testing

Tests your iOS and Android apps, and the systems behind them, for security weaknesses.

Cloud and Microsoft 365 Testing

Reviews your Microsoft 365 and cloud setup for weak permissions, misconfigurations and gaps in MFA.

Firewall Configuration Testing

Reviews your firewall rules and settings to make sure they block what they should.

Wireless Network Testing

Checks whether your Wi-Fi could give attackers a way into your business network.

Social Engineering and Phishing Simulation

Tests how your team responds to realistic phishing emails, one of the most common ways attackers get in.

Red Teaming and Attack Simulation

A goal-based attack simulation that tests your people, processes and technology together, just as a determined attacker would.

FAQs

Penetration Testing Frequently Asked Questions

Does Sprint Integration carry out penetration testing directly?

No. Testing is carried out by a CREST-certified partner we work closely with. We scope the work, manage the project and fix any issues through our managed IT support, so you have one point of contact.

What is CREST?

CREST is an international accreditation body for cyber security providers. A CREST-certified company has proven testing methods and qualified, vetted testers.

How much does a penetration test cost?

It depends on what’s being tested and how complex your systems are. You’ll get a fixed quote after a quick scoping call, with no hidden costs.

Will penetration testing disrupt our business?

No. We agree the scope and timings with you upfront, and testing can be done out of hours if needed.

What’s the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?

A vulnerability scan is automated and lists possible weaknesses. A penetration test goes further, with certified ethical hackers manually exploiting them to show the real risk.

Can penetration testing be done remotely?

Yes. Most testing can be done remotely. Some internal or wireless tests may need a short visit to your site.

What happens if vulnerabilities are found?

You’ll get a clear plan to fix them. As your managed IT support provider, we can carry out the fixes, restore secure backups if needed and arrange a retest to confirm they’re closed.

Not sure where to start?

Start with our Free IT Health Check. We’ll review your systems and show you where your biggest risks are, then recommend whether a pen test is the right next step.
