The challenge
As a well-established accountancy firm, Cooper Paul relied heavily on their on-premises systems for core business applications, data processing, and client support. However, their aging infrastructure was struggling to keep pace with their growth. Internal network performance constraints were creating severe bottlenecks, threatening daily productivity. Furthermore, limited visibility into network health meant issues couldn’t be proactively addressed, and as a client-facing firm, they couldn’t afford the downtime risks associated with upgrading their legacy hardware.
What Sprint did
Sprint Integration designed a targeted, high-performance infrastructure upgrade meant to eliminate constraints without disrupting operations. The approach included deploying two new enterprise-grade network switches interconnected with a high-speed 10Gbps fibre link to completely remove switching bottlenecks. Sprint also installed a 10Gbps network adapter within their key on-premise server, implemented advanced network monitoring tools for complete proactive visibility, and scheduled the entire upgrade outside of standard business hours to ensure absolutely no disruption to staff or clients.
Reliable broadband, VoIP, and leased lines to keep your firm online.

FAQ
Questions financial services firms ask us
Do you have experience working with FCA-regulated firms?
Yes. We work with financial services firms including advisers, accountants, insurance firms, and asset managers, building IT infrastructure and processes that support the compliance and data-handling standards these firms are expected to meet.
How do you help with compliance and audits?
We provide clear documentation, audit-ready reporting, and infrastructure configured with compliance in mind — so when a regulator, auditor, or insurer asks questions, you have evidence ready rather than assurances.
What happens if we’re hit by a cyber attack or data breach?
Our cyber security services are built to prevent incidents before they happen, with 24/7 monitoring and rapid response. If an incident does occur, our backup and disaster recovery processes are tested to get you back operating with minimal disruption.
Do you offer IT support for small financial services firms, or just larger companies?
We support financial services firms, startups, SMEs, and enterprises across London, Essex, and the wider South East. Our flexible, scalable solutions grow with your business, whether you need fully outsourced IT or support alongside your existing team.
How much does managed IT support cost for a small financial services firm with 5–200 employees?
Pricing typically ranges from £45 to £75 per user, per month, depending on the level of support required, whether cyber security services are included, and whether a Microsoft Office/365 package is bundled in. Not sure where you stand? Get a free IT Health Check first.
